Clayton Mapelli Cerri has been producing coffee since 1982, with properties located in the city of São Sebastião da Grama in the Vale da Grama region. Over the years, he has achieved notable recognition and awards for his dedication to coffee production.
His achievements include:
• 2008: 3rd place in the Natural category
• 2012: 4th place in the Natural category and finalist at the state level
• 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020: 1st place in the Microlot category in the Vale da Grama, and 3rd place in the national ABIC competition (13th edition)
• 2021: CUP of Excellence Brasil
In the 15th edition of the Coffee Quality Contest of São Paulo, held at the Santos Commercial Association (ACS), the highest score went to São Sebastião da Grama, with the Sítio Anhumas achieving 90 points in the Microlots preparation category, topping the list. In this competition, Clayton's family secured three spots among the top 10 finalists, including his father, Sebastião Cerri, his uncle, and Clayton himself.
Clayton and his family remain committed to producing high-quality beans through persistent effort and attention to detail. Their farms are located at altitudes ranging from 1.100 to 1.300 meters, with volcanic soil, an average temperature of 23°C, excellent water sources, and a high quality of life. The varieties grown on the farm include Bourbon Amarelo and Vermelho, Catuaí Amarelo and Vermelho, Icatú, Obatã, and Mundo Novo.
