Smelling the aroma of the beans

The story of coffee farming began a long time ago, as the local coffee farmers, and since childhood, they have been involved in the routine of coffee production. As young children, they remember playing in the yard, smelling the aroma of the beans. Coffee farming has always been the livelihood of the family of 12.

The big challenge came when the husband and two daughters decided to leave their jobs, steady salaries and city life to return to their hometown, Araponga, and invest in quality and sustainable coffee farming, 9 years ago. At the beginning of their journey, they had to structure the entire process, build access roads, plant each coffee tree, build the granary, washer, pulper, and even the house itself. They had to live without electricity for a while.

Today, they are reaping the rewards of their commitment and dedication, with the dream that their daughters will continue producing coffee.
