Itumirim - MG
CETEC farm
The CETEC farm began in the childhood dreams of brothers Márcio Custódio and Izonel Junior, born from a humble family, who worked as coffee pickers with the dream of one day having a farm. After graduating they decided to create their own Technical School called CETEC – Technological Center in the city of Lavras, southern region of Minas Gerais, to provide opportunity for needy children in the region.
After 10 years they decided to fulfill their dream as a child, buying a small coffee farm in the municipality of Itumirim, which means in the indigenous language "Cachoeira Pequena". Today the farm produces high quality coffees and aligned with the preservation of the environment, pest control and fertilization, with the application of organic and sustainable means.

It is the biggest coffee producer in the world!
Sul de Minas is the largest Arabica coffee producing region in Brazil. It has altitudes between 850m and 1,250m and average annual temperature between 22 and 24°C. Interestingly, this region is the largest coffee producer in the world! Its high altitude and annual average temperature facilitate the production of full-bodied coffees, with slightly acidic citric flavors and fruity aromas.
