Serra da Mantiqueira - SP

Santa Barbara Farm

Fazenda Santa Bárbara is a family farm in the third generation. It is located in the region of Serra da Mantiqueira and Alta Mogiana which is known for its variety of coffees with great quality potential. The altitude of up to 1,300 meters above sea level provides the perfect climate for rich flavors and aromas. The aromatization and ripening are processed slowly, which increases the complexity of the coffees, especially the varieties Bourbon Amarelo, Bourbon Tinto, Mundo Novo and Acaiá. The total area of the farm extends over 658 hectares, with 160 hectares used for the production of quality specialty coffees. The average production capacity is about 5,000 bags of 60 kg per year.

Intense and sublimely flavored coffees

This region stands out for the large-scale production of Arabica coffees and drinks with strictly soft, soft, just soft and hard characteristics. The average temperature of 20ºC facilitates the cultivation of coffee, but its sandy soil needs correction and fertilization more frequently than other producing areas. The average altitude is between 900 and 1,000 meters.
